THE EKKLESIA CANNOT BE LOCKED DOWN
Henry Hon with ONE BODY LIFE @ the CHRIST EKKLESIA INSTITUTE - IBADAN, NIGERIA - FEB. - 2020 - BETHLEHEM RESORT
TESTIMONY OF OUR LAST EKKLESIA GATHERING IN MY HOUSE (SUN 21 JUNE 2020) - By Femi ADEBAYO - Ilesa, Nigeria To God be the glory Who is beginning to open the hearts of men for His Word in our environment. The last Ekklesia gathering in my house is a testimony to this effect. The adults, both men and women, were about thirty-two in number with a few children. The meeting opened up with a good time of worship to God as participants freely raised songs and hymns of praises to God. Immediately after, I, as the host, introduced the meeting again and established the purpose, objectives, and goals of the gathering—particularly, for the first timers to key in. in fact, we had a good number of the members today as first timers. My introduction was brief as the host, but it was necessary to set the tone of the meeting and it was well appreciated. My introduction was not a message, neither did I preach nor speak throughout the meeting but observed akin to an anchorman of a ship—never to lose our focus which is Christ Jesus the Lord. And interestingly, all that spoke only spoke of Him, either in their exhortations or testimonies.

HIGH POINT The high point of our meeting was when a participant, a first timer saw a vision of four angels during the worship session, each holding a trumpet in his hand and ready to blow. Then, it triggered another first timer who was once a backslider just being restored. He stood up to speak up on his own vision three weeks ago which led to his restoration. The Lord mercifully appeared to him and show him the vision of rapture and his inability to go with the saints. In the same encounter, the Lord showed him his wife who came to meet him, held his hand, and took him to a room where those who missed it (the rapture of the saints) were congregated. She told him that was where he belonged; and thereafter, she left him and went with the saints. It was then it dawned on him the reality of the fact that he had missed the rapture of the saints.

After this, the sinfulness of his life began to dawn on him. Fortunately for him, we (myself, family, and another family) have been praying and interceding for him along with his wife because his case was such a terrible one. A few days after this vision—which he didn’t tell anybody, not even his wife—we (myself and Akin) went to meet with him to confront him with his sinfulness. It was during that encounter that very day before the Lord that he gave his life to the Lord Jesus! He was restored… Hallelujah!
PENTECOSTAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (PAN) with ONE BODY LIFE - Abuja, Nigeria - Feb./2020
At this Ekklesia today, as he gave his testimony, it was like the trigger point for our meeting, we experienced a little revival… several more people started crying and praying and as many as about six individuals gave their lives to the Lord Jesus! Hallelujah! Thereafter, the prayer started, and no one could control it. There were several crying out to God for mercy. I have been following up with some of the converts. At least, three persons booked appointment to see me in my office. Until yesterday, a lady was in my office whom I sent for her husband to meet up with me today for some counseling.

JUST TO ADD Last week, a number of about five adults (Pastors and leaders-four men and a woman) of different denominations and from a particular town of about twenty minutes’ drive from Ilesa came to visit me. They have been following us on the radio program (TIME FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY on air). They came to ask several questions and make inquiries of how they could be helpful in their city. I introduced some materials to them; whereupon, they bought a copy to go and study (ONE Ekklesia). I promised to come to their city for an Ekklesia Conference where we will immediately commence with Ekklesia gatherings in that city. The city is called, IPETU-IJESA. It is on the way to Akure city. I am sure you still remember Akure city. MORE OF YOUR PRAYERS Our work is still at the infant stage, but we believe it is going to grow and develop under God. This message is what, I believe, the majority of God’s children await. But until now, many are yet unaware of what God has started to do. That is why we make AWARENESS and CAMPAIGN including OUTREACHES our major activities for now.

This is just a brief testimony of small, quiet work the Holy Spirit is doing here. A fire has certainly been kindled by God through OBL (One Body Life). We are blowing upon it to become a mighty flame which will catch Holy Spirit fire across the nations of Africa and beyond. IN MY AREA Around where I live, God is beginning to encourage us as many more are beginning to respond to the message we preach from my office every morning. Testimonies are abounding of those who are listening every morning, using our messages as their quiet time. Their numbers are increasing. We are being encouraged by them, though still, few are coming out for now, but we believe many are listening and are following. We have what I call a LIFE TRANSFORMATION TRAINING PROGRAM [LTTP] every Tuesday and every Thursday—a time for sharing the Vision of the Lord’s purpose to those who are coming around. My belief is that very soon, many will catch the vision and many homes will be open for Ekklesia gatherings. Our Tuesday training time is for raising APPROVED MEN AND WOMEN. Several of these will be encouraged to take the C.E.I. (Christ Ekklesia Institute curriculum) form for the next academic session as well for thoroughness. Therefore, I am extremely optimistic that this truth will spread soon. Keep mobilizing prayer support for us among the brethren over there. God is working here. BOOK TRANSLATION As I mentioned to you earlier, the translation work is progressing. ONE Ekklesia will be translated into the Yoruba language for Yoruba audiences—it will aid our training work in this part of the globe. Although we may not initially print too many copies to start with; however, the distribution of it will depend on our spread of the message. The C.E.I will be the first market for it as well. God will help us. Femi ADEBAYO Ilesa, Nigeria.

TEMIDAYO ADEYEMO (DAYO) - ONE BODY LIFE, NIGERIA - SUMMER/2020 - PROJECT EKKLESIA One of the brothers in Lagos (Nigeria) shared this recently: An ekklesia formation started in my street of residence over a month ago. The host has a son who is a friend of my son. Their relationship got intense so much that I had to seek to meet the parents. Visits were exchanged. Then I used the opportunity in one of the visits to introduce the concept of Ekklesia—it was embraced. Voila, the Ekklesia kicked off and the attendance has been impressive, because people from the neighborhood and from the compound joined us. Between 2-7 adults (apart from the host couple and my wife), about 7 teenagers and over 10 children have attended. Most times we have an average total attendance of 15 people. We always share snacks at the end of the meeting.
Henry Hon, President of the Board of Directors of One Body Life with Leadership of the West African Theological Seminary, Lagos, Nigeria - Sharing the TRILOGY/Curriculum of the CHRIST EKKLESIA INSTITUTE: One Ekklesia . . . One Truth . . . One in Life and Glory - Lagos, Nigeria - Feb./March 2020.
When I got to know that the government wanted to ease the lock down about 3 weeks ago, I spoke with the host to speak with the other brethren how we should move forward if and when the lock down is totally removed: should I stop coming for the ekklesia meeting since everyone will want to go back to their different denominations? The good news came back: the ekklesia should keep on holding irrespective of if the lock down was removed or not. The brethren suggested that we could move the time from between 9 & 11:30 a.m. to 4-5:30 p.m. The brethren had obviously been imparted with the knowledge of Christ and the scriptures on a better level. We have been doing an exposition on the epistle of Paul to the Ephesians. Currently we are in chapter 4. It's been interesting as different themes (glory, riches, anointing, identity, etc.). Questions had come up which have been dealt with. Because many of the brethren are semi literates, I had to speak Yoruba and interpreted in English for the benefit of the Ibos amongst us. The Lord bless his Ekklesia. Amen. ADEYEMO TEMIDAYO (DAYO) - PROJECT EKKLESIA - NIGERIA
